George Washington’s Red Chair
In Girl in the Glass, George Washington’s red wing chair plays a prominent role in the Obturavi’s attempt to discredit the Hesperus prophecy.
George Washington’s red wing chair was part of his bedroom furnishings, and likely the last place he sat before crawling into his deathbed on December 14, 1799. According to the Smithsonian Institution, the red wing chair now resides in their American history collection. However, in Girl in the Glass, it meets a different fate, destroyed along with the rest of the Obturavi’s secret headquarters.
